This year the British Heart Foundation’s No Smoking Day campaign takes place on Wednesday March 11th.
The first No Smoking Day took place in 1983, and although the number of smokers has halved since then, there are still 10 million people who smoke in the UK.
The campaign aims to raise awareness for the risks of smoking, and highlights the vast array of available resources available to help those looking to quit. This year they have highlighted some of their inspirational quitters, having them tell their story of why they quit and how it has impacted their quality of life.
Here at the Harley Street Stop Smoking Clinic we hope that such a day will raise awareness of the risks of smoking, and help more people make the important decision to finally quit cigarettes. To read some of the stories of our own inspirational quitters you can visit reviewcentre.com.
If you have made the decision to stop smoking and have found the campaign work of the British Heart Foundation has only strengthened your desire to quit cigarettes, there are many methods to help make the process easier and more comfortable. However, if you have tried everything and feel that none of those methods suit you, you may find an alternative technique is the key to stopping smoking for good.
The Harley Street Stop Smoking Clinic provides hypnotherapy for stopping smoking in London. With advanced techniques designed to remove the habit from your subconscious mind, quitting can be relaxing and effective with hypnosis.
